Abhishek Rameshbh Patel ARRESTED for facilitating SSA scam (LOCAL TO MY AREA)

On June 24, 2025, the Geneva Police Department in New York, with assistance from the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Kingston, Pennsylvania resident Abhishek Rameshbh Patel for facilitating a Social Security scam, where:

  • Patel will call his victim under the guise of an officer with the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and threatened to arrest them for owing money.
  • In order to avoid being arrested, the victim will be asked to withdraw $80,000 from their bank account and hand them off to Patel or a designated money mule.

Patel was arrested and charged with grand larceny in the 2nd degree, a class C felony that is punishable by up to 15 years in prison, 5 years probation and/or a $5,000 fine. Though released on his own recognizance, he is believed to have scammed other NY state residents.

Can we just start executing those that come to our country to steal? Life in a US prison is too good for this type of foreign trash. Deporting them back home to be a hero is far more than a scammer will ever deserve.

I’d also like to see the same measure applied to several VOIP carriers’ “leadership” that seem to be turning a blind eye to illegal activities in which their clients engage. They should be rightfully called “stealership”. A few names come to mind for some reason… Telnyx, Commio, IP Horizon, Peerless, “Freaktel”.
