A fun one - Fake Best Buy Geek Squad Support

These guys had a website up, https://techgeeksupport.org , which ‘magically’ no longer works. I chatted with someone from a Live Chat, they asked for my number, and called me.

The number the called me from was (619) 800-1446, which is a Google Voice number. If you call it, you will have to state your name. They picked up several times for me, and it sounds like an active call center. They answer the phone as Geek Squad. They will try to remotely connect into your computer, so that you can do a prepayment of $100 for a repair. Of course, we all know that the repairs wont happen, and you'll be out the money.

Enjoy folks :)

Going down the rabbit hole, I’ve found that NameCheap, the Registrar, has yet to mask the domain registration information
