A few seconds extra when calling up

My suggestion would be an extra step when calling. Instead of connecting instantly from the phonebook make the actual call from the page with the number. It would give a chance to read the comment about the number and even check out the thread about the number if there is one. Knowing what the pop-up looked like when they ask gives a better chance to make them believe I’ve actually seen it.

@MrSweck#101933 It only dials once the number page loads, not from the phone book itself. That said, we do have plans on making auto-dial an opt in/out option, but no ETA on that feature. Also, I have a feature request in the list for a mouse-over feature on the phone book cards to show more info.

Badly phrased by me. Sorry for that. Connecting from the phonebook itself and connecting when the page loaded meant the same to me when using it… pressing the button made the call before I knew what to say. To (1) open the number page, then read and THEN (2) call would make it easier to sound convincing.

Yeah, I sometimes just try out the number, If it answers then sit in silence, then the next call I’m ready with a story…

@MrSweck#101950 I see what you are saying. I’ll talk to Kenzo about it, I was thinking the same thing today. You can always disconnect the call, but don’t click the x too fast, wait a couple seconds and end the call, and you can click the call button when you are ready. For now.

@Asterisk#102567 It’s what I’ve done so far and of course it works (with ease), so something like my suggestion shouldn’t be put high in a todo list and delay more important stuff. It’s really most of convenience and that extra “no-call” in the activity list.
