I gave her the address of the White House and she had no idea what that was. She said I get the money because I shop at stores. ??? I told her I only pay cash so how would they know who I was. Ummmmmmmm…Sounds like the Phillipines to me. The next dude sounded American so this is going to several different call centers. He said it was Rewards Center. I asked of what company and he hung up.
on one of my calls I gave her a dozen fake routing numbers and she still wouldn’t give up.
I hate these people. My mother got scammed in 1976. They charged all kinds of stuff on her card and she had to cancel it. Of course she never got her gift woucher. She could not get her money back because the credit card company said she gave them her number voluntarily and she should have known better. She was out over $1000 which was a lot of money in 1976,
It seems like there’s three separate call centers. One with only women in the phillipines, one with men in india and one american guy (the manager??)
Mike sounds African American to me.
I just gave the name Kamala Harris and she did not get it. Nor the White House address.
I got female, Filipino scammers three times in a row. They are not very bright, the first time I gave my name as Mike Rotchburns, then Jenna Tills, and finally Imus Kammer and they were fine with them.
I’m now on with a dude with an Indian accent, using the name Oscar Mayer and he’s fine with that as well.
Damn. Great names. The I woman I am does not know who Kamala Harris is nor the White house address. She sounds Indian to me. Barely understandable. They are very easy to offend, by the way.
I called as Betty Crocker and Duncan Hines on the last two and they are clueless.

Weird that from one number I get the British voicemail and another number an American one. I just got one in India that was a Savings Plan or something. My name is Arthur but you can call me Adam. WTH?
I’ve never used that name before, I was just trying to think of product names. They were fine with Sara Lee LOL.
It doesn’t seem to make much difference if I use a male or a female name with them.
About a year ago, I was using the name Helen Keller quite a bit. I kept asking the scammers to speak up because I’m hard of hearing.
It gets to the point where they were practically yelling into the phones.

The best thing that ever happened to them was colonization. Otherwise they would still be warring tribes. Sad that they don’t appreciate the modern civilization we provided for them and we still give them billions in foreign aid. I notice they don’t turn that down.
To be historically accurate, the British were the best thing to happen to India. The British set up roads, infrastructure, trade routes, a railway, schools, hospitals and much more.
