Mike the scammer picked up for this windows defender normal pop up he asked for my name i said my name is Amit Kumar lol. This is a real India playback singer. Then he wants me to read the pop up and then he wants to know what type of computer do i have. Lol then he said there were hackers and i was like oh no from China or Russia and he said he didnt know i said well thats easy to find using ipconig and netstate and that threw him off and then he said where are u from i said India just like you and he says what do u do i said i do cyber security and he said good luck with that and hung up lol

So this is a Windows Defender Pop-up?

This guy not wanting to enter any conversation about what it is like working the night shift.

yes if u click the link its the normal windows defender pop ups

That’s all I needed to know. Thank you!

Unavailable info is usually because the number is “spare” (available for purchase) or in “reserve” (purchased?). Why they haven’t updated it to assigned yet I don’t know, but seems suspicious.

888-661-1495 is unavailable because it is currently reserved by Telcoline LLC. You can contact them through their referral phone number at 209-356-5684.

I remember reading about this on scammerblaster’s twitter about “masked” carrier numbers:

ScammerBlaster @ScammerBlaster
Nov 30

Here are @amazon scammers with no carrier designation:
8886611474
8888057884
There’s no way to report these TFN’s to the carrier since the carrier is masked. New trend?

888-661-1474 is in reserve by Telcoline LLC
888-805-7884 is in reserve by Inteliquent, Inc

Seems the trend would be they keep numbers in a “reserve” status to avoid detection on who the carrier is and allow the scammer’s to use the number without fear of being reported and shut down.

FCC Rules
§ 52.15 - Central office code administration.
(f) Mandatory reporting requirements -
(1) Number use categories. Numbering resources must be classified in one of the following categories:
(iii) Assigned numbers are numbers working in the Public Switched Telephone Network under an agreement such as a contract or tariff at the request of specific end users or customers for their use, or numbers not yet working but having a customer service order pending. Numbers that are not yet working and have a service order pending for more than five days shall not be classified as assigned numbers.
(vi) Reserved numbers are numbers that are held by service providers at the request of specific end users or customers for their future use. Numbers held for specific end users or customers for more than 180 days shall not be classified as reserved numbers.

Reserved Numbers means those telephone numbers which are not in use but which are held in reserve by a Carrier under a legally enforceable written agreement for a specific End User Customer’s future use.
