I have been calling this number for about 2 weeks now with different phone numbers, shocked the number is still up, looks like they have no plans of taking it down so have fun with it! Just a classic pop-up browser scam number. Always a fun classic and these guys are really good at getting into character but equally as fun when they break character quite often with insults. I just rang this number. Gave them fake details. Said I was from 90210 and that I had millions in the bank.
When they told me to go to get the phone card, I flipped on him. Put on a serial killer voice and said I was gonna kill him haha. He went quiet and then started apologising. I was hoping to get some abuse back. But went on to say how he hated life and his job etc. He sounded close to tears. I don't think it was a bullshit story either,
You get some weird results from scam calls.
@wirushunter#82249 Yeah honestly these people break character quite often. I had one of them completely break down and say that he did regret what he was doing but its the only income he can get (not sure how true that is) and that he would love to travel and see the world as well as start a family. Possibly the most sobering and morbid call I have ever had from a scammer, actually kinda felt bad for the guy…
