The scammers answer as the “cancellation department of Geek Squad, associated with the Norton Lifelock.” In order to “cancel,” you are asked to “open the Google Chrome” and download UltraViewer (ID: 95952062/DESKTOP-T6PFD7N).
The scammer hung up on me as I was installing UltraViewer, so I called back to a separate bhenchod who was in a busier area with his kid! Once they remotely connected to my virtual machine, I was asked to hang up the line and call his “direct line,” (863) 999-8754 (TextNow).
I was then asked to “open the Google Chrome” so he can “connect to the secure department” by downloading ScreenConnect from mcompro.org (Code: 36681, IP: CloudFlare-Protected ) and completing their “cancellation form.”
Once I completed the form, I was asked to log into my nonexistent bank account. Since I don’t do online banking, I was asked to register for an online account anyways, so I registered with the bhenchod song and actually made him chuckle!
