When I call they say “IRS this is officer Kevin answering”.

@JusticeinTexas#29564 On about 15 calls to them, two calls are busy. For seven calls they answer and I can hear a call center for a second and then they hang up. One call they called me a MF and hung up. I changed my phone number. Then after a few more times they answered “This is the IRS”.
Do they possibly use the same number to call victims with their "IRS we are going to arrest you" speech? Could this explain why it goes busy sometimes.
@alangreen#29571 Could be or they may be talking to someone on that line when you call. Some of the more sophisticated ones can detect if you are using Firertc and those are the ones I use my burner phone because it shows up as just my regular cell phone. Even using a burner number I always put VPN on my phone first, though.
