Additional information about this scam: I got a call from this number, probably as a callback from one of the MS Windows fake popups I’ve called recently. I answered but could not heard the caller, heard in the background call center noise, male voice saying “I am the senior supervisor on the floor…”
I called back, and reached one Richard Jones. He was somewhat shy about saying where he was calling from but admitted that this was “Microsoft Support” and that “maybe ma’am we were calling you for the routine checkup call on your system.” His favorite color is red.
