Scammer’s Number: (844) 600-0806

Extra Info: It is 2:40 PM Central, Saturday, 10-Jul-2021. About 10 minutes ago on the bobrtc site this 844 600 0806 number was posted as a Tech Support Scam.
At 2:42 PM Central I am calling … I pressed 2 to connect to LIVE AGENT rather than pressing 1 for CUSTOMER SUPPORT… “hold” music is playing … It never said a name of a company whenI called but just said to press 1 or press 2 …
I got “Tom” and he said it is “Moral” support and he spelled it per my request. I asked, “What kind of moral support do you provide?” He said, “Thank you” and he hung up.

I’d asked Tom if this is Technical Support but he said it is “Moral” support and I even asked him to spell the word and he spelled it M O R A L. ??? Now scammers are scamming people by providing MORAL support?
I have reported the number “0806” to the call flooding system thanks!
Maybe they have been being bombarded and/or baited so much that the “Tom” on the prior 1st call of mine was not in the mood to follow his script.
I am calling again 844 600 0806 from a different phone number of mine “Thank you for calling support. Please press 1 for customer support team or press 2 to connect with a live agent.”
I pressed 2. Same “hold” music … 2:49 PM Central and still on hold … A guy answered and he asked how he can help me when he answered and he did not say any company name. I asked him his name and he said Tom. It is “Tom” again! I said that I need some moral support. He seemed to chuckle under his breath and there was a pause of silence, so I said that you had told me that you provide moral support on my last call Tom, so I am calling for moral support you inept, incompetent, low caste, and cowardly criminal. He hung up without saying anything more.
Thanks, @anon9219891!!! Now it will be TOM who will need the “moral support” after the Call Flooding System figuratively sodomizes him!
844 is a toll free area code, so it would seem this phone number is not a TextNow number. I guess it was a coincidence that on both calls I got the same “Tom” unless maybe he is the only scammer in the call center!

I have called a few more times and it rings several times but now the calls end BEFORE I get the following:
“Thank you for calling support. Please press 1 for customer support team or press 2 to connect with a live agent.”
What a stupid spiel anyway? If someone presses 1 for customer support team rather than pressing 2 to connect to a LIVE agent, does this mean pressing 1 will get me a corpse in the customer support team?
Yes, the system is in action. I have also called the number personal with my scam baiting phone number. That DTMF seems to be gone… 
– I really like menus because as the calls aren’t going through to the menu, the scammer or scammer(s) have no clue that calls are even going through, and with thus said their phone bill will sky rocket with a cost of hundreds of USD a minute.
