Additional information about this scam: These are known foreign scammers posing as Spectrum. They are “promoting special 50% off offer”. A well-known ongoing scam.

By the way, the carrier is Fusion Connect. There are threads about them being used by many of the same scammers that use Peerless Network. I do not know whether or not they are related to Peerless, but I saw posts here about some connection between Fusion and Peerless.

It seems like these scammers do not like being cursed out either for some reason, based on my experience with them. I called back and cursed some more!

The guy I got didn’t go off on me. He just kept saying he was really Spectrum, and “I” was the liar.
