Number randomly called me tonight and some ghy named James says that they work for avast software and there’s a bug in the application and their refunding me by first uninstalling the software from my computer,I got a little suspicious when he said Their address was 5th Avenue New York and he hung up on me when asked if he was a scammer.I called back and was redirected to a tech agent named James who gave me the same information. And when I told him if He called back that I was going to report him to the FTC and he said “we work with them all the time”and he said if I report them hes going to report me to the fbi,and Hes blocking my phone number”
I guess there not active now cuz they won’t pick up the phone

I got to talk to a manager and he said they do support for email,aol,computers etc and he was supper pissy when i asked about the other two calls I received from them for a refund and after the first time the manager hung up on me in the second one i asked about their little operation and if it was illegal or not and he said he didn’t want to talk about it to me and then told me he was gonna report my number and he hung up. 😂😂
