this is a higher level scam center. They use phone spoofing, they conferenced me with my “local PD” (They spoofed the PD number of the city zip I gave them.)
Spam them to death, their investment will be their undoing.

Finally got off the line. Unless they call me back in the next hour or so, I think I am done with them.
Here is what happened:
1)They presented case, checked my address/SSN/bday/phone number. They all matched to the same state, so I passed.
2) I drove to bank, 1 hr away.
3) Argued a bit for 20min about properly pursuing proper protocols.
4) Told them I forgot my debit card, so I have to drive 1hr back home.
5)Drove home and then to bank, 2hrs.
6)Argued a bit after reaching bank, again.
7)Got the cash and started drive to Target, which of course, was 1hr45min away from the bank.
8)Call dropped only 30min from Target. Man, I was so close to securing my funds. I guess the professionals aren’t what they used to be.
I recorded it all, but its not too interesting except for the minor arguing.

Just youtubed a few videos. I have a few drive along videos of different cars, car sounds, office sounds, store sounds, weather, etc. Its all done from youtube. Also, I hit the microphone on the table every time I “open or close” a door. On the recording, it sounds pretty legit. I increase and decrease the ambient sounds accordingly (if I enter the car, the forest/highway sounds get turned down). It takes a bit of practice, but with 2 hands its easy

To ensure they haven’t muted me, I try to call out for the officer during my drives. That ensures at least 1 of them is listening in. Usually they pass the phone to one of the reception people during the drives, but it depends on how big their operation is.
