He pretends that he can’t hear you. I let him hear my voice but what he heard was a Jamaican insulting him. I practiced sounding like them so that I can make them even madder. Patois isn’t that difficult to mimic once you know a few words. They get too upset and don’t realize that I am repeating phrases.
