419-type Letter

i got a physical letter offering me a 419-style “URGENT BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP”.

Details:
Mr Andrew Moyane the senior Auditing Officer of the "Fairbairn Privant Bank of South Africa" has fond a bank account of a dead person that has 14.7million dollars in it. He wants 60% and offering 40% for my troubles. He wants my name, age and occupation so that he can "set [me] up" as the next of kin. LOL

He says he got my details from an online directory. (quite why he thought that someone in my line of work would fall for it is unimaginable).

Contact details (I haven't had a chance to check them yet as I am at work and don't have a rig here for it):
[email protected]

by the way, looks like accountant.com is a scam-site. I've only looked at it from a mac and it had a mac-specific scam. I suspect it would have something in linux or windows.

enjoy

Looks like the guy’s not very clever. He gave his real home phone number and I just woke him up (twice) at around 4am south africa time. He requests to do business only by e-mail (lol), he has an african accent and does not like to be woken up.

@Daeld#14689 could you provide his home number?

sorry for the delay; the number was given in the original post

Those guys do always give out their real phone number.

Secondly, accountant.com is used frequently by Lads (419 scammers ).

Thirdly, try to find a way to get a bank account from him, avoid WU / MG and when you do that, you can report that account.
