4 foreigners (2 Indian, 2 Peruvian) ARRESTED for facilitating SSA scam (GAUTMO!)

UPDATE: 37-year-old Jhon Cristian Corman Espino and 44-year-old Defina Guzman Coronado, both from Peru, were arrested for serving as money mules for this scam operation.

On April 11, 2026, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office in Columbus, Washington arrested 22-year-old Simranjeet Singh and 23-year-old Vaibhav Sharma, both Indian nationals illegally residing in Bakersfield, California, for facilitating Social Security scams where

  • The scammers will call their victims under the false personation of customer support representatives, falsely claiming fraudulent charges were made on an account of theirs.
  • The call will then be transferred to a coworker posing as a representative of the victims’ bank, who will also falsely claim the victim had purchased CHILD P0RN FROM P0RNHUB.
  • In order to resolve the matter, the victim will be asked to withdraw money from their bank account and hand it off to a designated courier, or money mule.

The two were arrested on charges of attempted theft by false representation and are currently being held on a $12,500 bond and an ICE detainer. Normally, I’d hope they’d enjoy Gautmo, but given the scare tactics they had used, I’d personally rather see them be given a lethal injection.
