The 254s are still working, but some of the openers are now saying “Federal Reserve System”. I talked to one of them who told me it’s basically the same as the SSA scam with a different opening script.

At 3:30 PM Central, I just got off of the phone with an SSA female scammer at the phone number (254) 720-0426
Maybe they are related to the other phone numbers in this thread that begin with (254) 720 et cetera.
