Have no idea where I caught it but it was a really nasty short flu and sucked but I never saw a doctor or anything and got over it. The worst was losing taste and smell. Well, actually the worst was the headache. Glad to be back and breathing still. Missed you all!

@drwat#190032 Thank you so much, my dear friend. It was scary but I did not even call the doctor. Just took Tylenol and Robitussin. It lasted about four days and then just poof it was gone. Just tired now.
@drwat#190032 But I would not wish it on anyone! The media has scared everybody so badly that if you catch it you will die so I admit I was scared but the majority of people do survive it. I am in a high risk because of asthma and my back disability and was ok. My neighbor who is 65, obese, has COPD and was a smoker got it and was in the hospital for a month when she got it survived, too. I guess it just depends on it being so random. You keep safe yourself, my dear.

That first glass of orange juice that I could taste on Sunday morning was like heaven and when I went out into the sun and fresh air and walked through my garden it felt like Eden itself. I really only got thru it because of a wonderful husband who took such good care of me and who did not catch it, the tough old bird! And of course my kitty nurses. One never left my feet and one never left my arms. Glad to be back!
