Verified and it’s still up. They’re using the Microsoft Quick Assist app for Win10 computers. And I have no clue of how to report their assistant ID numbers they use to connect to people via this option. It’s entirely new to me. And since searching for the said report option doesn’t bring anything up… it brings a situation as so.
I just got everything set up to start scambaiting (thoroughly) and I can try giving them a call.
I imagine you can call Microsoft about the ID and see what they say to do about it, otherwise, use a VM of an older version of WIndows like 7. I was wondering when scammers were going to start utilizing that feature, which now with it being a MICROSOFT app they scammers will start abusing, it may push Microsoft to take action against these @$$hats.
