You do Indeed have the Biggus Prickus with all these numbers you compile BP. I can’t thank you enough. Especially for the rebate voucher lists you come up with. This seems to be the go to scam fraudsters always fall back on when their dreams & aspirations of being a rich crypto, insurance, or amazon mogul fail miserably. :sob:

I couldn’t guess as to the millions of numbers which host this absolute bullshit on them every day
These are enabled by the Telco’s and the scamming shits simply connect to whichever network of them.
There are hundreds, possibly thousands of call centers in India, Jamaica, Mexico, Costa Rica, and a shit ton in the US as well, all connecting to this lowest form of deceptive bait and switch credit card and identity theft fraud.

The fucking Telcos are the ones who need to be held accountable for this crap.
I’ve taken tens of thousands of refund and tech support numbers down over the years and instantly this bullshit appears on the newly disabled/parked numbers. I know many numbers which are active Indian refund/antivirus support scam numbers during scamlight hours daily and immediately switch to vouchers overnight when they’re deactivated at home time.
My honest opinion on it, is simply them getting a call connection fee, either toll free costs or local call costs for misdialed numbers. There are the call centers which send out tens of thousands of robocalls with the numbers they want you to call. This can only be done quickly and efficiently by spoofing the CID to send out robocalls and texts indicating the number to call back.
No matter what scenario the monthly bottom line profit and loss statements all benefit healthily because of this utter crap.

:rage::rage:

Yeah, you must be referring to to larger call centers that run multiple scams at once & rotate them on various shifts as well. I’ve called a good number of those places manually. I’ve also seen the same numbers for the same scam get redirected to a call center in an entirely different country at certain times of the day so they can resume operations until the following day. I like it when the smaller call centers revert back to gift card scamming because that usually means their initial scam has failed & they are in panic mode. Most of the time they are too small to recoup their losses with just gift card scams at that point, so they usually disappear shortly after. Or at least that batch of numbers that they’re using does, which is good enough for me.

But I agree wholeheartedly with your statements about the telcos & voip providers. I’m encouraging everyone here to at least try to reach out to one of your senators & voice your concerns with them as well. Who knows, we may even get someone in government to do something if we can just get their attention on how serious the matter really is. What could it hurt to try? There are quite a few intelligent & motivated people in this forum. Maybe we could collectively write & propose our own bill as to what coarse of action we would like the government to take to crack down hard on the phone carriers. Just a thought.

Absolutely incorrect
Gift card scammers do only that and nothing else
They are a specialized scam operation
Refund or tech support call centers do not switch to a gift card script
the number is parked and the telco diverts it to a gift card call center
I know a lot of things after now approaching 9 million targeted calls
I come across sometimes 50 gift card numbers a day and watch numbers get flooded into extinction with the script they’re running. The number goes dead for a short while and then will change to one of the approximately 10 different leadgens or 8 or 9 different $100 retail rebate voucher ivr menus

I have no doubt in my mind that you know your stuff but how do you explain numbers that are running amazon 1 day and gift card scams the next from the same number without it going down or re-routing your call? Because I’ve had quite a few of those numbers which I called and spoke to people directly & recognized that the voices didn’t change, but the scam did.

Nope
Never the twain shall meet
Gift card credit card processing requires a specific payment portal which refund call centers do not have access to.
Otherwise their scam would be a 3 minute script process instead of 3 hours of fucking off to the bank, stores for gift cards and on to bitcoin machines or USPS to post tin foil wrapped money in shoes boxes filled with old shoes, wine glasses and all sorts of other assorted crap they come up with

I think we’re talking about about two different things. What you say about payment portals makes complete sense if you are referring to scammers that want to redeem gift cards as payment. I was referring to the scams that offer a voucher/gift card to get access to your cc information. Aren’t they referred to as gift card scammers too?

I know exactly what I’m talking about

I’ve discovered 38 new $100 retail rebate numbers today alone. I know precisely what they are and how they operate.
I have 16 numbers which route to the same gift card “Deluxe loyalty program” call center which has no menu.
Another call center l came across 10 numbers for last week runs the same bullshit but calling themselves simply “The Reward Center”

This number is a sample of the many hundreds I know which are active every day of the year.

8887123999

These idiot occupy loads of toll free and area code numbers for a month or two, then change to a fresh set of numbers. Finding them is as easy as shutting a refund call center down within 30 seconds
I know every aspect of every scam.
On tens of thousands of numbers which are active every day
There is no-one who knows the extent of numbers active daily than I do.
I know precisely what they all do and have possession of every script taken from the dozens of operation computer systems I have complete control of currently.
taking control of 2,3 and up to 6 phone and computer systems every day.
I know a little bit about it

Again, you’re talking about large call centers that occupy tons of numbers that they activate in blocks. They also need a specific payment portal to charge your card directly for their bogus services & products. I get all that. What I’m saying is that I’ve run into small groups of people. Probably all friends with each other who offer you a gift card in exchange for your cc info & then just use your card to make online purchases for themselves. They either waste it on frivolous garbage or equipment & possibly a few more phone numbers to facilitate their scam. But they don’t need any special payment setup or money mule nonsense to carry that out either. They can literally change to that scam overnight.

Freshers…sheesh
Try taking a call center down and learn a thing or three
Or at east make 18 thousand calls as I have today already
It’s not hard to do
Honestly

lol I wouldn’t mind doing that sometime but scince I’m a “fresher” as you put it I don’t have the setup right now to pull that off. Probably won’t for a long time either. I would love to enlist your help in taking down a low key customer service call center that works with one of those bullshit savings programs by the name of Discount Savings Advantage. I’ve been calling the American “customer service” agents for 2 years straight & have learned a thing or 3 by doing so. There is plenty of info on them to confirm they are a scam but they actually do send you a voucher & reimburse you $100 total over a 10 month period. Unfortunately you end up paying 4 times as much for their “services”. But the American call center is low key & has been operating scince 2013. There is no physical address of the business or paper trail to show corporate ownership. They give you a bogus P.O. box number in Draper Utah but no business by that name is listed in that city. No business by that name is listed anywhere. They claim that they are not discount savings advantage but a call center that works with various companies to provide customer support. But they won’t tell you their name.

They use Indian, Filipino, Panama & Asian call centers to initially offer their “Reward” along with signing you up for up to 5 services that they try to read through real fast or sometimes don’t mention at all until you’re billed for them. The companies that show up on your statement are just these weird contrived 3 letter abbreviations that have nothing to do with the company billing you. On top of all that you are locked in their program & services which they auto debit until your bank account is drained. When you call to cancel they say that their membership is canceled but they can’t do much about the other companies scince they are a 3rd party call center so you have to call each company back and cancel with them directly except that nobody can seem to give you working numbers to do so. Its doesn’t matter anyway because they will start billing you for the membership that they supposedly canceled the following month. That’s if they can even find your account at all in which case your screwed. I would say your screwed anyway if one of these places gets your credit card info. They all operate almost identically forcing you to cancel your credit / debit card.

Sometimes they get their scams mixed up & answer as American Medical Services & go from being a “customer support rep” to a “senior advocate advisor” They all are Female with really odd names like Malachi & Jack. They are not even in the U.S. at all. I suspect they are in central Canada somewhere based on the timeline they operate off of. But 1 call out of every 200 will give you an error message that says your call could not be connected in English & then in French. These women are not French mind you & speak 100% with an American accent.

I would appreciate Any help you could give me to help track down where they are located or just any additional info would be great. Sometimes the same person will try to pretend they are someone else & answer with a different name. Also their phone messages stating their business hours says 9-5 eastern but they stay open until 6:00pm eastern further illustrating that they are not in the U.S. & have no real concept of our time zones. Either that or they are really hurting for money due to losing a lot of their phone numbers over the years so they stay open an extra hour.

When you ask them basic questions about Utah or their address in Utah they can’t/ won’t answer because they don’t know & aren’t there.

Maybe if you can do a Discount Savings Advantage list of numbers for 2023 that would be very handy. I found one on google already but most of those numbers are changed or not working anymore. I’m really interested about these Canadian Bitches though. From my experience with gift card scammers, they usually go as quickly as they appear. They certainly don’t stay in business for a decade. They may have changed their name a few times so that would explain it partially. That & the customer service reps are so low key & very rarely break character no matter what is said to them.

Here’s an interesting little consecutive block of $100 retail rebate voucher numbers my systems picked up early yesterday. It is quite common for there to be consecutive blocks of several hundred numbers in parts of area code prefixes. In the toll free prefixes this is extremely rare to come across.

You’ll only be able to dial between 5-8 of these with the same CID, any subsequent calls will sound as if there is nothing on the number at all, or a NIS menu will play.

They all answered as “The Reward Center” or “1800 Savings & Rewards”, most of them almost immediately after menu prompt without much hold time. I can’t recall anything but very large Indian call centers answering, but as always these numbers can route to different call centers at random.
In this consecutive block of 101 numbers, 89 of them are $100 retail rebate vouchers.

Much appreciated. I will give it a go tomorrow. Hope they are still active then. I know you didn’t really have to do this but thanks again & take care.

I wasn’t targeting these specifically, they just happened to be in the way as my dialer steamrolled through this neighborhood in search of tech support popup activity. I often find hundreds of these things every week, but never in a large consecutive block such as this in the toll free prefixes. Very large areas of unassigned, newly allocated numbers in every area code host blocks of retail rebate voucher numbers, many hundred in size. The most I’ve been bothered to trawl through and log has been 272, a couple of years ago in the 858 - San Diego, CA area code.

There has been in excess of 320 Microsoft tech support popup numbers within the last few weeks, a few hundred numbers either side of this range above. These idiots aren’t the brightest lightbulbs in the box with their tactical ability. Continuing on in sequential fashion number after number, just to have the shit kicked out of them immediately each time, is what a lot of these dickheads do.
Long may their non existent IQ’s continue to dominate the landscape and hundreds of their numbers go down screaming, without anyone knowing they were even there.

I’m glad you’re on our side that’s fore sure. I’m going down the list right now. I got sidetracked today by a number that called & have spent a considerable amount of time digging up info on them to determine if they are a scam or not. It’s just 1 number but seems very believable so needs to be looked into some more. Just don’t want to spook them yet until I know for sure. I’ll post on it either way very soon.

That’s what usually happens to me when I’m ready to start my own cold calling campaign with one of your lists. I’ll get an odd call in which I can’t determine if they are scammers or not, and then waste the whole morning on obsessing over that one particular number until I find the answer lol.

last 2 numbers dialed out to various different call centers when dialed repeatedly. The people spoke English but were definitely not American. One of the earlier numbers led to a crap insurance brokerage company unaccredited & rated f by the BBB. Didn’t want to list it here because I felt bad for her being stuck at that company.

That entire block of $100 retail rebate voucher numbers went silent earlier today
They must have realized they’d been found and targeted for some special attention
It happens quite often with these numbers going down if they get too much call traffic.

They’ll turn up again in another virgin number real estate area.
This is a huge cash cow for the Telco’s on millions of otherwise idle, unused and unallocated numbers.
