They haven’t been anywhere, I can assure you
Crime does not have rules nor observe union work to rule or holiday schedules.
Crime never sleeps and that is a provable fact.
They decided to take a few days off because I’ve been relentlessly attacking the numbers which aren’t the 6-8 known numbers on social media sites around the place.
I’ve forced them to take down far in excess of 1000 of their numbers within the last month. I’m absolutely positive that while they went offline for a couple of days recently was to give the illusion they were done with this scam, which I seem to remember them doing before but I’m probably mistaken as usual.
Actually when I come to think about it, they used the opportunity to change script back to Comcast as they were originally for years before I effected the same scenario outcome around 6 months ago
They were forced offline and they changed menu and script to Spectrum back in October last year because of hundreds/thousands of simultaneous calls to dozens of their numbers in consecutive blocks. consisting of hundreds of active numbers.
It’s the easiest way to bring down large amounts of numbers when you know them all and not the odd random one.
They realize the entire blocks are known and hundreds of consecutive numbers in blocks go dead after relentlessly attacking a few of dozen of them in numerical order.
They’re stupid creatures but they soon realize which numbers are being dailed repeatedly
I’ve spent the last 21 hours straight running searches solely for this scam
Less then 1 hour ago I finished a consecutive block search which revealed 79 newly discovered numbers in the 877 prefix which span 804 numbers start to finish.
There is usually hundreds of refund and tech support numbers discovered while performing searches for this scam.
Discovering call centers owing consecutive blocks of several thousand numbers is not uncommon while these searches are running.
Many times there has been up to 100 refund or fake popup numbers active simultaneously in consecutive numbered blocks.
Several are still operating today, despite the waste of time reporting to carriers which occurs. The numbers are rarely taken offline.
I also came across a couple of standalone numbers at around 2-3 am last night, which have no other Comcast scam numbers within the same 1000 block range
Both are in the 866 prefix
There are dozens of numbers like this across every prefix which form no consecutive block pattern
multiple dozens of telcos are used to shield themselves from being taken down by single carrier scenario.
only a small percentage of numbers can ever be taken down. They have most of their slimy bases covered. They’ve been doing this scam and only this telco/streaming service scam for many years, they’re very good at it and not the rank amateurs most refund and tech support clowns are who switch company allegiance and script often daily
Both these numbers are on the Peerless network
8665494557 Comcast X-finity ivr 0 (Peerless)
8666431340 Comcast X-finity ivr 0 (Peerless)
Just for giggles and only because everyone already knows them all already, this is a small consecutive block in the 888 prefix discovered Friday evening, through Saturday morning.
Strangely they answered all day Saturday after being discovered after hours as most of their numbers are. They answered on all the other numbers which aren’t the half dozen or so which are known to all, while they were observing work to rule, public holiday schedules of host or target countries and other important things all criminals observe.
All of this consecutive block are on the scummy thinQ network
8883400496 Comcast X-finity ivr 0 (thinQ Technologies)
8883400538 Comcast X-finity ivr 0
8883400586 Comcast X-finity ivr 0
8883400632 Comcast X-finity ivr 0
8883400714 Comcast X-finity ivr 0
8883400825 Comcast X-finity ivr 0
8883400826 Comcast X-finity ivr 0
8883400895 Comcast X-finity ivr 0
I haven’t tallied the active numbers but there is just under 4000 active numbers, down from the almost 5000 a couple of months ago
I also have zero idea of what I’m doing even after 35 years. and more calls than entire towns and cities will make collectively in a generation.
I’ll get the hang of this stuff soon and probably work out what these other almost 4000 active toll free numbers with the identical day and night time menus all mean.
There’s a pattern there somewhere, it’s just a matter of time before the penny drops
Back to it…there’s supposedly thousands more out there and are very easy to locate… so I’ve heard.
Darn it…no emails in my inbox…oh well I suppose I’ll do things the easy way.
