Prolific gang of British scammers impersonating banks.
they will ask for a lot of information, they may either try to use it straight away or they may use the information gained in a subsequent scam an a few days time.

Number owned by Gamma Telecoms who seem to rely solely on their ‘partners’ to manage fraud, often their ‘partners’ seem to be reluctant to shut down the numbers, it can take a week… go figure!

While I cannot call them on my Google Voice line, I can call them directly through my new TextNow line.

“This is the fraud prevention dept. at Virgin Money.”

The automated system will ask for the phone number they called you on. I entered a fake phone number (666-666-6666) and was transferred to one of their “fraud specialists.”
