I reported them yesterday and they have been shut down about 10 minutes ago, which was the last time they were answering. The calls do not connect now.
I’m happy to report that using the Sinch webform does produce results bow but they (Sinch or the wholesalers) do not update you on the status of the case.
It’s better than nothing I suppose but the numbers are being shut down.
For clarity on how these scammers keep getting numbers on the same carriers - they don’t, at least not technically. The scammers search the web for carriers that are obscure but a lot of times, those same carriers do not own their phone numbers and instead, get them through larger telecoms. These obscure telecoms are known as “wholesalers” by their parent telecoms. So while a number may appear as “Nuso” when searched, the scammers did not purchase the numbers directly through them and often, don’t even know that their newest batch of numbers are carried on telecoms that have shut them down in the past. Scammers abuse the same larger telecoms by buying from the smaller wholesaler networks who do not disclose they are part of a larger telecom.
This entire block appears to have been shut down by Nuso. The numbers answering with the impersonated Xfinity menu. Calling them now presents a disconnection message.
This block too, appears to have been shut down. Like the previous Nuso block, the scammers were answering. Calling them presents a disconnection message instead of the impersonated Xfinity menu.
This block seems to have been deactivated based on the message that plays when calling the numbers back. They were answering earlier and I did report them to Sinch. Given that the scammers lost 2 blocks on Nuso, it could very well be that they deactivated the numbers themselves, or Sinch took action sooner than expected.
Just for some clarity, I was able to get Sinch to respond and take action, especially for these scammers. I’ll leave it up in the air as to what happened but I recommend that you keep an eye on this block but for now, it’s been deactivated.
So this block is active. I guess that the Sinch did take action on the previous block then. The scammers usually leave the Sinch blocks up regardless if the lose the other ones on different networks. I’ll work on these tomorrow.
If you ever hear this message, is its an active number of this Comcast/Spectrum scam operation.
It’s a fake number not in service message, which hasn’t had their normal menu switched on. I have evidence of around a dozen or more numbers becoming active after having this message on them all.
They have always been in adjacent digit consecutive blocks in every instance
On one of the forms let them know they can easily be reported to the now competent and not corrupt FCC
The FAFO game is awarding great prizes to complete shitheads who want to play stupid games.
There’s currently free taxpayer funded time share cinder block condos being handed out, along with awesome designer orange clothing
The Sinch thread will be updated once I gather enough cases from your post. I will include details on to report to Sinch using their webform. Stay tuned.
