Their intent is to defraud consumers by demanding payment of a supposed legal fee to dismiss the bogus case and restore the Social Security card. These individuals appear to be operating out of an illegal overseas call center and have no affiliation with or endorsement from the United States government or the Social Security Administration. They are not authorized to issue summons or warrants, nor to collect or receive payments on behalf of the SSA or any federal agency. I kindly request an investigation into this matter to help protect consumers from falling victim to this scam. .
