Played along with him for a while, but it was so difficult understanding him, that I cut him off just after he did the suspended SSN bit ordered by the court house. He said something like they would suspend my number and destroy all the bogus accounts... to which I sounded surprised that they wanted to destroy the __evidence__. He got sort of pushy, and asked why I was asking so many questions. So I pushed back and started acting like I was getting suspicious of hmi... "Mr. Cooper, something just doesn't sound right here. You say you are trying to catch whoever is behind this, but then you say you want to destroy all the evidence. Something seems fishy about this whole call... let me get this straight, you say you are John Cooper and are with the Social Security Administration, correct"? He said he was, so I asked him where he was located. Gave me some address in El Paso Texas. I replied back "Well that's funny, because my tracking software shows that you are not even in the US... but outside the country... in India specifically. Are you by chance i Delhi???".
He sort of stumbled a bit, then said no, he wasn't in Delhi, but gave a couple of other city names until finally stopping on Pakistan. I said "Wow - Pakistan... I did not know that the SSA had an office in Pakistan... how long have you been working there?". He said he has worked there for 7 years. I told hm "Cool, SSA in Pakistan... you learn something new every day! Ok, continue on with your script - what was it that you wanted?"??
