Their ConnectWise download page was blocked by my Internet service provider, so “Patrick” asked me to install UltraViewer. Once he remotely connected to my virtual machine, he asked me to log into my Amazon account despite having already told him I don’t have one.
- “Patrick” then ran the “Netstat” command to falsely claim there were “a lot of servers connected to my IP address,” only to refuse to “suppoat” after I blocked him from searching for my IP address.
