Actually, Google Voice only allows you a certain number of calls to the same number. They will then say you are violating their TOS for spamming and will terminate your account. I had it happen to me.

I’ve been getting calls all damn day. I hope they piss off a lot of potential victims that hang up on them. I asked them why the hell they were calling on a Federal holiday. One said they work on holidays, and others just hung up.

I have inoperable brain cancer. My Dad and Granddad died of it and it is inoperable and I am dying. Oh, you need this test to find out if you are going to have cancer in the future. But, I am going to be dead in three months. It does not matter. It may diagnose you with another form of cancer. But I am dying in six months. But you may get another cancer in the future. WWWWTTTTTFFFFFFFF!!!

Oh, and he told me that I am not dying. I asked if he was a doctor. No. I said it is on my brain stem and I am going blind and can no longer walk. BUT OUR TEST WILL CURE YOU!
He actually said his test would CURE ME.
