I called (808) 556-8530 on Microsip and it says it’s busy, but on TN NIS

Yes, also because it is night on the US-targeting scammer’s clock.

Obviously, during the day-time here in the United States, it is night in India. This is a great time for scammers to attack. There are generally two time frames that Indian scammers operate on:

UK Based Scams: 9:00-17:00 GMT.
US Based Scams: 16:00-00:00 GMT.

Each scam center is slightly different, but they operate around these hours given the region they are targeting. If they aim to attack British victims, they operate on the UK schedule. If they are using US victims, they operate on the US time frame. There is also a schedule for Australian victims, but it is less commonly used due to the nation’s lower population.

If you call a scam center running on the US clock at nighttime in the U.S. (daytime in India), they often won’t pick up or will forward you to a voice mailbox. On occasion, I have found that Amazon Prime Video scammers will keep 1-2 employees active during this time, but it is still rare to see such an occurrence. Every Indian scam is obviously much more lively during day in the United States.

Hopefully this clears things up.

I have also noticed that individual email scams have also become increasingly popular. As you can see, the number on the email is not a toll free one, meaning this is an individual scammer and not a large call center. However, sometimes scammers work both as a lone operator and in a mass center.

I got it now, yea I knew about the scamming time. I appreciate it. And I’m not to familiar with the weekends, but do any of them operate Saturday and Sunday like the rest the of the week?

Not sure, but it’d definitely be a day where more people are off work and would handle such matters. Again, their goal is the money, and they’ll make HUGE lifestyle sacrifices (Working through the Night with no Sleep) for this job.

Well I plan on being as hardcore early in the morning as I have been all week. If you have any new advice or suggestions that I may or may not already know that would be great. I started doing this for a fellow scambaiter months ago, she only does videos twice a week, and LIVES everyother Tuesday. I don’t actually talk to them, I don’t have the courage to be mean since I’m a FF/EMT. So I let other baiters do that. When numbers get posted, I call from my multiple different numbers, but by far LOVE microsip because I can record. Once I get an answer I hang up reply with the recording I have, and then keep updating throughout the day. And I’m really addicted to it. I’ve learned sooo much from other people and I’m proud to be a part of this site. The comradery is GREAT!

Well, I love to see that a person like you is double-upping the community service! Thank you for your patriotic service as a FF/EMT! Do you do baiting, flooding, trolling, or victim-playing?

First Thank You for your kind words. We don’t get appreciated much. Second I use to talk to the PCH idiots until they ask for gift cards I’d have to call back when I got them, and then never would. I would call back and pretend to be someone else and they’d believe me, it got so boring just going around in circles. I was on BOB for a while, but I didn’t want to blow the numbers up and have them block me so she would have a video to make. But like I said earlier I use TN as a last resort, Microsip is the main one. I put my TN # in as caller ID so when a number called me back most of the time, I already had it saved from months ago. So if I get some rest tonight, I plan on going through those numbers, see what’s been posted and add it, because I’m tired of looking at the same numbers over and over again. Once I have them memorized it’s time to get rid of them. I have done call flooding, but I can’t figure out how to do that when you have to pick certain options to get through. I’ve been asking other members for suggestions, but never get any responses. And to be honest your the first person that has communicated with me this much. So I’ll ask you this, if I we’re to give you some numbers through DM would you be able to find out the specific details on the scam?, that way she can at least get her foot in the door and not have them hang-up on her. And all the ones I have labeled are either Tech or Support, I don’t have anything else.

There are a lot of PCHs that don’t do gift cards and do the bank transfers/checks. Besides, if they ask for the cards, just try to say that it doesn’t seem right.

Well maybe now that I have the recording app maybe I’ll call them and post my recordings. I don’t like talking to the ones that have good English, the show talking and ignorant ones I like. But I have so many from when Bob was up. The same guy different name, different number, he blocks me one day, I give him again the next. They all seem to want vanilla cards. If they start talking about bank stuff I’m out.
