I just had a talk with one of them, I asked him why he scams people, in his eyes he said he knows what he does but doesn’t think it’s illegal, he just does it to make money.

I told him to think about what he does and hopefully he can find a proper job, he said he would take my suggestion, probably wont but I said if this happened to your parents or someone you would feel bad right? He agreed.

Hopefully I made him really think about what he does, he really didn't like me calling him a madarchod lol

Called this one for over 2 hours

After 2 hours I just showed a popup saying my PC was healthy and he instantly hung up, I called back and as expected he was saying things about my family, then a women came on the phone with several guys laughing in the background.

After exchanging a few madarchods here and there and having them hang up I called back and a young lad answered, he gave me his real name (actually seems legit) told me his real location (New Delhi) and sounded like a genuine kid, I'd say he was about 16. He told me he doesn't scam and thinks he is actually providing a legit service and told me to call back and ask to speak to (his real name) and he would talk to me and tell me more.

Very interesting, they all deny scamming, most deny working for Microsoft even though I have recordings of them saying the complete opposite, I hope they get shutdown.

My earlier article http://scammer.info/d/6586-windows-popups/52 lists several ways.

Screen-grab evidence is the easiest. The baiter only needs to verify the author did not make a typo, and the number is still active.

Video evidence may require a frame-pause to copy the phone number.

Text evidence may require activating the Popup to capture the phone number.

Some of my friends don't even have a VM. They go through all motions as far as obtaining connection-code from scammers, NEVER enter the code, but start swearing in Hindi.

They then share the verified, active numbers with other baiters on social media, email distribution lists, etc. for posting during live-streams. Even if the presenter does not get to bait those scammers, other viewers copy those numbers from chat for re-distribution.

I do not know how to find the number of views of this thread, my guess is it's approaching a thousand.

I believe if it saves 1 minute per baiter, this thread would have saved about 16 Hours for the Scam-bait community!☺
