@jerrycan1991#162167 Would you happen to have the link for that pop up? It’s one of the most effective screen lockers for Microsoft edge and I want to grab the source code of it to see why it is so special.
It looks like scammers are using a combination of legitimate(ie browser detection) and malicious javascript to lock webbrowsers they even go as far as to catch certain keystrokes to make it hard to leave the popup page.I have been looking at there sourcecode just like you want to.
I also wonder why te scammer seems to like to use http authentication ? maybe because it causes an endless loop and thus makes it hard to leave the popup page in that case just fill in a wrong username and password the server should throw a 401 authentication required error.
