I need to visit New Orleans for sure. I do not want to go during Mardi Gras, though maybe when I was much younger I would have wanted to go to Mardi Gras.
But some other time of year, just for the music and food and atmosphere!

Absolutely! The place is awesome for all that when it’s not hectic. I did Mardi Gras once while in college and it’s a zoo, but my agenda was much different then.

Well, Tiger Rag (Sidney Bechet) is good and is not a slow song.
The Black Swan Classic Jazz Band does a song Coal Cart Blues that I think is from Louis Armstrong originally. I ripped many years ago to my computer a CD of this The Black Swan Classic Jazz Band that my father has.
The Black Swan Classic Jazz Band does also a song The Cat and the Dog composed by someone named Harry Reser. This song has some cool banjo in it, and during the song the tempo changes.
I’m with @JHawk! Any Dixie Land Jazz song is great, especially if YOUR super da looper bass notes are put together with it!
