Most of these numbers can be shut down if they are reported to the telecoms yet I’m not seeing that many screenshots for certain numbers. Instead, I keep seeing people type out what’s in the alleged text messages. I still don’t understand why users insist on typing out the messages instead of sharing screenshots but until that changes, most of these numbers will remain live since I don’t have the required evidence to help out. ![]()
If you are using Google Voice on a PC, you can screenshot that and share it. I can use that and the telecoms will accept it as evidence. You don’t have to type out the message. Just black out your Google Voice number.
I get them as they come from other sources since they never contact me.
Most of these scammers are using Telnyx, which takes two days to shut down. They love photographs as evidence, but many carriers don’t ask for that unless you’re reporting to ATL “Numberhub”. I’ve only found them to be the riskiest carrier out there. I’m not going to begin talking about Onvoy ![]()
