“Alex” refused to “suppoat” after I asked him to identify his company, so I called back and “Shane” falsely claimed my PC came with a free trial to McAfee which has since expired. I faked his ConnectWise not working, so he tried to get me to enter a new code and switched over to UltraViewer as a last resort.
- Once remotely connected to my virtual machine, the incredibly-impatient “Shane” wanted me to download ConnectWise as it’s his “cancellation portal.” I refused and was asked to throw my computer out the window.
