Got this text about being a winner. When I spoke with him, he said I won a 20K lottery but since he was “helping” another client, he would call me in 30 minutes. I do believe the bastard when he says he has a victim to talk to , so if you have a chance, PLEASE call this dude.

This is a new one! They are either in India or Pakistan. Possibly running the scam out of an apartment. In order to get your 20K lottery winnings, you have to pay your state sales tax. In my case, 6%, $1,200.
They want to connect to any device they can, phone or PC. They tried ZohoAssist, different links and finally supremoconnect.
They confirmed several times that they were dv-lottery.us
Complete idiots!!! I was able to waste over 30 minutes of their time. The scam ended when I said, “I don’t need a green card, I just want my 20K.” It has nothing to do with immigration. They are just stupid and chose the wrong website to represent their fake lottery.

Year ago the same number had different scam…
Was from an officer Pete Flores apparently. Sounded Indian. Number was located in illinois: XXXX. Apparently they’d received a number of packages containing lots of cash from Shanghai sent to various addresses in different states
I don’t think they know what they are doing, using that website. When I called them, it was all about getting “sales tax” for a 20K prize, given out by dv lottery.
