The “Safety Alert Center” is listed on the Better Business Bureau as operating under the leadership of Daryl DeCroix, the owner of DeCroix International and Michelle Baird, an executive assistant from Life Protect 24/7.
User complaints on their BBB and Google listings indicate patterns of fraudulent activity, such as:
Continuing to bill customers on a monthly basis, refusing to accept communications and generating fake positive reviews.
Making unauthorized monthly charges of $49.99 and annual payments of $380.04 as both Life Protect 24/7 and the “Safety Alert Center.”
Refusing to ship replacements for faulty equipment and falsely blaming it on the United States Postal Service.
The company has also been on our radar since June 13, 2018.

NUMBER 1-800-432-1160
@kenzo#80050 Yes this is all true. This number 877-441-4758 is one of the hundreds of numbers I farm every week from 800notes.com because they were all used to previously send out illegal robocalls, usually concerning credit cards, loans, debt relief, and government grants. These robocalls are strictly illicit simply because they do not provide the company name in the robocall, and on top of this most likely did not receive written or spoken consent to send out robocalls. Life Protect 24/7 has …

Have I got an interesting one today! The above CID Robocalled my personal phone and left the usual synthesized voice of a SSA scam “your SSN is blocked you will be arrested blah blah press 1 to speak to an officer” but then I called the # back on my PBX it connected to an IVR of a prerecorded woman’s voice selling a ‘free medical alert system’ I followed through it and it connected me to this company:

Maybe the SSA scammers just coincidentally spoo…

According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), it is illegal to claim what you are selling is “FREE”, and then later in the call indicate there are charges to a product or service with regard to what you are selling.
This phone call that one of our community members made in January of 2019, did a great a job in exposing this.

@mangomonster #132605 I called back and it appears they are now forwarding to a valid company - Life Protect 24/7. They do those medical alert things for “help me I’ve fallen and I can’t get up”. I spoke at length with the sales lady - as Grandpa, a nice 65 year old gentleman who was inquiring because his kids were worried about him living at home alone. They are offering a “special promotion” of the alert button and activation for free, including shipping it to you - and you just pay the mon…
@drwat #144114 This one is much togher. Its one of the screeners I’ve met from the previous week. If they didn’t call you, they will tell you that and close the call. It seems sporadic as they turn off the phone if they are getting bombarded too hard. Anthony from life protect 24/7 tried his best.
yeah, it sounds like one of those numbers that shows up on your caller ID… it’s a scammer from India if you pick up, but since they don’t want calls in, if you call it back, you land something like this.
i think they’re fair game because so many of these same companies that constantly come up on these have been coming up for years… they know they’re paying referral/affiliate fees out to scam bosses, and they don’t care.
Life Protect 24/7 constantly coming up in these scams for years now makes …

Additional information about this scam: This number didn’t work for me when I attempted a callback but I just wanted to get the word out on it.
At around 7:00 PM this number called & claimed they were offering some final expense insurance. I’ve only been able to connect to an “agent” a handful of times with the final expense crap & they were all shady companies or flat out scams. This one was the latter.

Life Protect 24/7 is a legitimate company which uses misdial marketing as one of their sales techniques along with a rather cheesy, fear mongering script. However with that being said, nothing they do is illegal & the staff & management will answer any question you ask to the best of their abilities.
The number 888 276 8613 & the other one that used to be posted which was 855 676 2448 is not Life protect but an imposter scam call center operating in Canada I believe. They sound American but kno…
