@kat#28099 it is a tool to allow me to control my VM from a rat. So it is for one perfectly legal. Also, I can keylog everything they do, also legal as they are on my pc and I have every right to monitor it’s activities
@kat#28097 Surely will post links to some youtube videos later today. BTW it has been going on for long time.
86% of tech scams originate from India. My family has been scammed by an Indian with fake name Kevin Smith ,whose real details I know now but he says do what I can as he put it “the police is my pocket!”. In this case it was not a different scam company from Chandigarh, Punjab India. The sheer number of scammers in India is just too high.
I generally have good experience with Bangalore Indian tech folks.
Let me give you one example (will post more later)
REAL VICTIM of IOBIT. Paid for thre years but cut him off after one year.
Victim’s words (not mine) “Lying Creeps” “Let them go to hell”
" I tried to reach them 24 times" “They keep on changing phone numbers”
“Cannot get to a live person without paying again even with Pro version”

@kat#28131 I have many videos. At least they were crooks (as the video publisher observed it) in 2014.
I will post more video links. I have many links. Please do not have adversarial position and keep open mind. I will do the same (keep open mind).
@drwat#28179 it doesnt look like theyre from mexico. They claim they are from quebec lol
@RamanRoy#28183 I had an Ip logger opened from them and it said Mexico
@1888TechLine#28186 I tried to speak to them in Spanish and he didnt understand me lol
Maybe I can make this clear. Scammers sometimes use genuine, actual, free software to scam with. The same way scammers use logmein or teamviewer to connect to your machine. They don’t make it, they just use it. Obviously IObit corporation are not scammers, and if the scammers claim to be from IObit, they are not. They just happened to pick that one out when looking for software that doesn’t detect much. This is why they don’t install Avast or MBAM LOL! They don’t care if you have problems, they just want your credit card and sometimes the ability to install a backdoor.
That's it!
@jackburton#28217 I understand what you are saying. So how come, when I call the number on their website, they connect to my pc, install malware on it, as scanned on virus total, that malware is also a fake AV scan. I know it is fake because it can’t detect malware I installed on it. They specifically said I it was a malware scan. They showed me the normal stopped services and Msconfig. They lied about their location, and I get routed to several call centres when calling who each have their own method of scamming.
@RamanRoy#28190 Lately we have been encountering Indian scammers from Delhi/GurgaonNoida area who are trying to scam in Spanish. There are now eight private institutions in Delhi are where you complete the Spanish language course.
They sound like American Scammers. This is their call back number : 438-793-4923
@RamanRoy#28252 i am sure i made a post with that number, not sure, like as a seperate scam.
@1888TechLine#28227 All of that is pure scam of course! My explanation was more for Kat, who seemed concerned we were scambaiting a legitimate business. That is not the case. I just called the number listed on IOBit’s website, and he sounded shady. I said are you gonna tree and event viewer me when you connect remotely? For real? “No sir I will just… long pause activate… the product.”
We didn't discuss which of the several softwares, they spoke and understood clear english so nothing was lost in translation, none of their software requires "activation". He didn't mean upgrading to pro of anything.
https://www.iobit.com/en/store.php written in scammish hehe
They have a new number at: 1-877-777-0470
@1888TechLine#28101 They don’t seem to understand Spanish because we have called them and my friend speaks Spanish and she harassed them in Spanish. They didn’t understand her, although maybe it was her dialect. She called harassing them several times about a promised Mercedes that she didn’t get. They don’t completely understand English either. They sound to me like they are from the Middle East
