I have been scammed by a student consulting company in Pakistan

Hi everybody,

I want to share with you my story hoping that someone here may help out,

I have been scammed by a student consulting company in Pakistan claiming to help students get scholarships in Universities,

I have met their Agent in an App called WECHAT and I applied through him for 12 students (3500$).

At one moment they stopped answering, and I made some research to find the money mule who gave me their real website : https://www.heritageconslt.com/

I found the owner and told him how I found him so they started replying again..

He said he will refund me one month ago..
today he told me wait three more weeks...

It seems he doesn't take me seriously, what can I do?

Apparently they scam all foreigners thinking they will not cause them trouble

Their SSL certificate expired, so it shows a big warning.

However, https://heritagembbs.com/ also exists, and this one doesn’t have an expired cert.

Other than the misspelled URL and some mistakes on the webpage, do you have any evidence that they aren’t legitimate?

If so, I can report them to their domain registrar (Namecheap).

I think it's enough to report them to the Google Safe Browsing project, which will display a large warning, but removing a domain from operation usually takes more than just a misspelled URL and some spelling mistakes.

I did file a report with Namecheap just in case, but they will probably ask for more evidence.

I have the payment proofs and discussions with the owner.

I am wondering if the Pakistani Police can help in this case
