On March 5, 2025, police in Hyderabad, India raided an illegally call center at a Madhapur building for facilitating a PayPal refund scam against American citizens, whose funds were converted to cryptocurrency. The call center reportedly targeted 600 people, but duped at least 10 victims per day.
The individuals responsible for running the scam were identified as Gujarat resident Kaivan Patel Rupesh Kumar, or “Jaddhu Bhai,” along with his elder brother from Dubai, Vickey, and a third individual, Ajad. They all operated under the supervision of Chanda Manaswani, a Hyderabad resident who serves as the managing director of Exito Solutions.
Police have arrested 63 individuals during the raid and seized

- 27 employee ID cards.
