Additional information about this scam:
Yo, these fools slid back in my inbox again, tryna run that fake Geek Squad hustle. Same tired play, different day. They droppin’ this shady number like it’s legit: +1 (848) 272-4973. Don’t fall for that noise — it’s straight scammer business. Keep ya pockets tight, don’t let these clowns
eat.

Answers as: “Suppoat for Norton, PayPal and Geek Squad”
Technician: “Steve Wilson”
Remote Access Software: UltraViewer (ID: 104183734/DESKTOP-950NKC3) and ConnectWise from hghelp.support (Code: 34087)

Once remotely connected to my virtual machine, the incredibly-deaf “Steve Wilson” proceeded to “connect” my device to the “secure server of Norton, PayPal and the Geejk Squad” by downloading ConnectWise from hghelp.support on the grounds that UltraViewer was an “AI/Robotic server”
- I was then asked to fill out a “World Bank refund request form” and log into my nonexistent bank account. But since I don’t do online banking, “Steve” refused to “suppoat”
Kolkata scammers. Easy to give up, I had to help them with connectwise as they didn’t really know how to operate correctly.
