“James” asked if I own a computer or laptop and falsely claimed my computer came with a Norton 360 subscription in addition to Windows Defender. When I told him off for his bullshit, he told me to take my computer to the nearest Best Buy and straight-up refused to “suppoat.”

  • I called back, and “Shawn” answered as "Geek Squad Protection powered by Norton Antivirus and prompted me to “open the Google Chrome” and download ConnectWise from ljpcare.live (Code: 21733, IP: 193.27.90.71 :netherlands:), which redirects me to qsjd546d.cfd (IP: 37.221.64.88 :moldova:)
  • Once remotely connected, “Shawn” asked me to fill out an “online cancellation and refund torm” and then log into my nonexistent bank account.
  • As I don’t do online banking, “Shawn” blanked my screen with a fake system update and locked my controls while performing a Google search for my fake bank and attempting to view my webcam.
  • I was then asked to wait 24 hours for a text message, so I played him the Bhenchod Song.
