As you know, last Congress I was on the Armed Services Committee and the Science, Space and Technology Committee. This year I am on the Energy and Commerce Committee, which has the it’s the oldest committee in the House and has the largest jurisdiction. As the late Congressman John Dingell used to say when he was chair, it moves its energy. If it doesn’t, it’s Commerce. And that pretty much encompasses the broad jurisdiction that we have as a committee that includes everything from health care to energy, communications technology.
