EGlobalSoft Solutions, Tek-Wire, PrinterTales, Fake Cricut, WinDriver Tool 866-542-9565

Still active, “Jeff Kriger” answering today as “Printer Support.”

Two numbers active today as “printer support” suspected e-GSS:

617-540-0980
984-261-3418 (Marcus-Marcus whose favorite color is purple.)

Another fake Cricut number 209-498-1688.

Update: I got a call from a very big boss-man who said his name was “Elmer Fudde” from +44 20 3098 4844.

866-542-9565 still active.

Update: here’s a statement from an apparent scam victim that seems to tie a few of their aliases/fronts together:

Hello, I am wondering if anyone ever called Cricut customer service for technical help and then get handed over to a company called Tech Wire? This happened to me, and I believe the company is a scam. They require access to your computer and call you often to gain access for “updates”. I finally told them NO and they now call me twice a day telling me they monitor my computer and I have a virus they need to remove. It all seems fishy to me. I would have never trusted them, but I trusted Cricut.

Yes me too called themselves zone firewall said they had to access my computer so I could install cricut kept calling to say I had a virus saying I must of bought a second hand computer no it was brand new just like the cricut all from Amazon

And here’s another recent spam slop blog post that advertises the various e-GSS properties together: Top Cricut Issues Support Providers for 2025

Let me emphasize once again that what I am documenting here is not intended to be an accusation of wrongdoing and should not be acted upon as such.

Here’s another odd website on the same IP address:

Washington State UBI number 605497923.

What makes it odd? Let me count the ways:

  1. Weird name (“01”)
  2. “Designed by Zone Websites”
  3. Mistyped address (extraneous space); the address in Yakima, WA is a modest, nondescript doublewide trailer home.
  4. The “photos” of the supposed real estate listings are all Adobe stock photos!
  5. Use of “enquire” where American English would use “inquire,” a very British spelling choice.

What is going on here? I have no idea but it may or may not be related to this scam organization.

Update: another number for Kavin at “Cric— uh, Canon Printers Support” 209-498-1508. He refused to reveal his favorite color. (Neutral Tandem number.)
