These British crypto scammers are everywhere (assuming it’s the same lot), I’ve chatted to some on phone numbers for 20+ countries. They usually go for “share-seed-phrase scam” where they give you the secret phrase to a crypto wallet and convice you to transfer your funds. All social engineering as you said @Sol, no RAT.
If it’s okey I’ll add on to this thread:

These are not official Binance numbers https://www.binance.com/en-GB/official-verification, Binance do not have any phone lines. I think the same for Coinbase.
Thank you for that explanation.
I had noticed them a while ago and thought they were very unique, and they did try the recovery phrase on me but I am clueless as to how those work. Normally they just hang up, but now it’s clear. So they just manipulate the victim into adding their wallet right?
These guys are dangerous. Especially because their telecoms really help them conduct their crime.
Yes, thank you!
Yeah so when you create a wallet on one of these crypto exchanges you choose a 12-word secret that allows you to access that particular wallet. However the scammer gets that secret to you and no matter what they say, they know it and so once you transfer into the wallet they too can access it and then transfer your money out into a wallet only they control. (they try and make it seem like they don’t know the secret by sending it to you “securely” over SMS or whatsapp etc)
I thought I’d listen to these sideshow circus gimps talking bollocks for a couple of minutes
