The first person I spoke to was too deaf to provide “suppoat,” so I called back and “Dane” told me to throw my computer out the window.
The scammers operate under the business identities of “Wings Supports” and “Wings Care” whilst falsely claiming to operate out of Mesa, Arizona. The toll-free number they used was already posted several times in the past, with the scammers having also impersonated HP and hosted websites like https://printerhelphub.site/
The scam has also been reported on TechScammersUnited, where users have reported the scammers faking being spoofed by answering as Domino’s. Through my traceback efforts, I have also found the scammers operating printersteps.com (and, by extension, hitspro.net) and smartdeviceassistant.com (which has a 1-star rating on the Better Business Bureau)
