British WhatsApp scam - not for calls, I will regularly add fresh numbers - bait for bank accounts

Additional information about this scam:

They send a message along the lines:
Mum, I’ve broken my phone, I’m calling from a friends phone, please save my new number …
Pretend to be a concerned Mum, they are likely to give you bank account details you can then report.

Good, keep on them. I’ll keep adding numbers.
My scambait colleague has now reported about 300 money laundering bank accounts from these scams in the last few months. This is actually perpetrated by organised crime syndicates.
