@drwat#132715 Wowsa. Unreal how evil and nasty these guys are. I don’t know why I am even surprised anymore!
Sorry that you had to interpret that trash. Thank you, dear friend. ; )
what number y’all are calling i am trying not working for me
@jaymee#132711 Roger Tenfore… I had a scammer that would say “Roger that” after almost every sentence
I for the longest time used the name, phonetically pronounced “Bit - ah - me”, with a last name pronounced “In - thar - see”. Would tell them that it was some common name over in Africa which is where my parents were from. I’d get stuff like “wow, that is an unusual name” or “oh, that is beautiful”.
When asked to spell it:
Biteme Inthearse
I would feed it to them in groups of three letters... "Bit", "eme", "int", "hea", and "rse" - which made it much less obvious than if I had said "Bite", "Me", "In", "The", "Arse"!
Some would catch it, but it went well over the heads of most :)
@JusticeinTexas#132696 Those bots on your recording sounded different than the ones i’ve used on Bob.
It’s Saturday morning, but the Amazon scammers are still busy calling. Forget caller ID, they’re spoofed. I wasn’t in the mood earlier, but the third call I picked up. The robocall said $799 has been charged to your Amazon account, press 1 or 2. I pressed, it was a femscammer but promptly hung up when I asked, “Are you calling for Constantina?” They probably have notes from yesterday where I baited a guy for about 14 minutes.
@Jhawk#132735 It did not record the bots but only the scammer talking. That was entirely him blabbing on and on and of course HE KNEW ALL THE TIME!
@JusticeinTexas#132791 Ok, Thanks JIT. Thought maybe I was missing something over there. Be well and safe you naughty little scambaiter, ![]()
@Jhawk#132793 You are so welcome. Drwat translated some of it in a post above if you want to know the disgusting things he said. No surprise! ; )
@JusticeinTexas#132795 I did read his post earlier today and no, it doesn’t surprise. To talk to a woman like that shows pure disrespect…such vile creatures!
@JusticeinTexas#132791 Is that a “bug” or a “feature” of BobRTC? I mean not being able to record the bots. It takes away the fun, hearing only one side of the conversation.
@jaymee#132797 It can really be looked at both ways, there is an actual feature that allows you to record the incoming audio channel only. While that feature is by choice, unfortunately this one is not. Call recordings can’t capture the bot’s audio due to the way they work on regular calls, and there is not much that can be done about it. This might be possible one day, but for now there doesn’t seem to be a clean way to achieve it.
@Norm_Harrison#132798 Thank you. That is good information to know. I thought I was doing something wrong.
@Norm_Harrison#132798 Thanks, Norm. I was going to answer the same thing. ; )
@JusticeinTexas#132791 Presently Bots are not recorded by BobRTC. One has to use other means to record all voices like OBS.
no one is picking i am listening to music, i want my 200 dollars asap
