Yes but the amount of money the scammers waste calling us is negligible. They can easily re-supply the cost to outbound call from a single victim, and by then that money is lost to the scammers’ service providers 
That’s true, which is why as many outbound calls as possible need to be stopped. Also, even more important is educating people about scams. If you know any young people in your life or older people, make sure to have a procative conversation about scams with them. It’s very good to help them.
