The scammers sent a fraudulent robocall to my cell phone, which is on the do-not-call registry (thereby violating the TCPA) just to send the following voicemail:
“Hey, so sorry I missed you. This is Michelle with the tax relief department. I was calling because I was just going over your file that we have on your tax issue and I know I can help you get all of it situated. So, if you have any unfiled returns or tax liens, levies or even garnishments, remember that all of that can be taken care of. Your tax may also qualify you for several programs that can help reduce the amount that you owe significantly, if not eliminate it completely. Just give me a call back! My number is (818) 791-1279.
