They are forwarding the call to a different number when you press one. That number is now inactive and is considered a “lead generator”. 914-873-4124 still belongs to the scammer and they are likely to return calls made to that number. The lead generator offers you get when pressing 1 should not be considered scams - just hang up.

They could have got very confused but I have no idea why
I was calling them on the same 3 numbers at the exact same time.
These clowns think they’re clever but we all know different.
I rarely speak to these scamming shitheads, but I do to a few dozen Indian call centres who know me extremely well. I can close them down within seconds of them hearing my voice by just saying the words, “Hello dickhead, just doing my daily activity verification call”, or similar words.
No matter what number I find them active on, I can call the number back in a few seconds time and it’s dead.
They know only too well what happens next if they pick up the phone again.
The good little girls choose the cheaper and easier way to do things.
