888-525-1136 and (346) 273-0292 - Car Warranty Scam

Scam Number: 888-525-1136

Extra Info: They’ve called me several times from blocked/private numbers and left annoying voicemails about renewing car warranty in violation of TCPA and DNC. It appears that they’re calling many people with their BS robocalls:

These appear to be US-based scammers. I spoke with Ashley, and she hung up when I pointed the illegal nature of their conduct.

They deserve worse than that. Nasty scammers. And they appear to be Americans scamming their own folks.

They have just called back from (346) 273-0292. This number is active as of 12:50 PM CST. Carrier? ONVOY!

Just hearing ONVOY makes my blood boil

I cannot agree more. People have been communicating scams to their entire executive team: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]. They should not be complacent with tolerating scams and spam coming from telephone numbers on Onvoy’s network.

They disconnected the number.

Welcome to the forum! Hmm, I have just called them, and there was hold music (typical scamming music and automated voice “wait for the next available agent”). It appears they’re still answering my calls.

@scamterminator2021 Yes Sir, they just picked up for me right away. English speaking.

Shame: American scammers bothering, defrauding and harassing their own people! They deserve to be called out on their bullshit behavior, to say the least. I’ve reported them to FTC and FCC and the carrier. They use both Onvoy and Intrado, but the scam is the same.

Hi @Allybe Welcome to the community. Thank for posting!

Oh then they probably blocked my number already. Sorry for the misinformation.

I called and got Brenda. I told her I had 2016 Ford Fiasco. After trying to find my car for several minutes, she transferred me to a guy who instructed me to “get a life” :joy::joy:

It’s OK, just switch to a different number and call them back. They’d love it!

I’d instruct him “to get a real job that won’t put him in jail where he’d be ravaged by some sexually deprived males of various ethnicities”. He may enjoy it, though…

I called back and got Susan. I told her I had an “escort” When she asked if there were any issues with it, I told her “I accidentally put diesel in my escort this morning, she’s been in the bathroom throwing up ever since.”
It took her a few seconds, but she hung up.

I just had Amy. When she asked for the vehicle make & model, I told her “it’s 2012 PT Loser”. She said “you are a loser, go F yourself!” That wasn’t very professional.:joy:
I Wonder how they’re going to feel about my Honda Quaalude I purchased from Bill Cosby. Let’s find out…

So much fun with them! By the way, this is yet another proof that it’s not a legitimate business. Legitimate businesses that don’t break the law do not swear at callers ever. Nor do legitimate businesses call people on the DNC List. Scams however do.

@Draco @anon47227696 @Hviezdoslav - you guys might like those scammers. They’re feisty!
